Two months, six updates worth talking about. From a dedicated search page and updated Comparison Viewer to a redesigned iOS app and new integrations, here’s what’s new in Frame.io.
Search your entire Frame.io library with a full-screen search
Bring out the big search. Now there’s a dedicated workspace for when you want to move beyond searching for one file. The full-screen search page is designed to help you make sense of your whole library.
Access the dedicated page directly from the search icon in the side navigation or just one click from the search bar. When you open full-screen search from the search bar, your query carries over automatically.
For example, if a client asks for “that drone shot from March,” instead of guessing filenames, you can filter by project and object type. Then preview results without opening each one. You can select and move or download everything in just one pass.
Describe what you’re looking for the way you’d ask a teammate, and full-screen search does the rest.
What’s new:
- A dedicated search page, one click from the search bar or from the home side navigation
- Toggle between Standard and AI-powered search when a keyword search isn’t enough
- Filter by project and object type
- Preview results without opening every asset
- Select multiple files and move, copy, download, or delete them at once
A few search tips:
- Use a full name, not just a first name. If a name is common on your team, adding the last name helps AI Results find exactly who you need instead of returning everyone who shares the first name.
- Add one distinguishing word when results feel too broad. If a search keeps surfacing a similar-but-wrong asset, one extra word—an asset type, a format, a status—is often all it takes to bring the right one to the top.
- Search reaches your notes, not just filenames. If you’ve tagged a name or detail in an asset’s notes, searching for it will surface every asset it appears in, even if that detail was never in the title.

Catch every change with Comparison Viewer
Comparing two versions used to mean toggling back and forth and hoping you didn’t miss anything. Now with the latest Comparison Viewer updates, you don’t have to guess.
What’s new:
- Drag a slider to reveal an overlay between two versions, side by side
- Pixel Diff highlights exactly what changed—no more squinting
- Works with image comparison and PDF comparison (same dimensions required)

What’s new in the Frame.io iOS app
The Frame.io iOS app got a glow-up, built on Apple’s newest design system. Reviewing footage on your phone now feels as native as everything else on your phone.
Some changes are obvious. Lighter, more translucent menus and controls that are handy when you’re jumping between apps mid-review.
Others are subtle. Refined spacing and shapes throughout that add up over time. The redesign also prepares Frame.io for Apple’s next generation of iOS experiences.
This update also brings the app to more of your global team. Frame.io on iOS now speaks Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish, in addition to English and Japanese. And if you use Inbox, you’ll now see recent Share activity right in Notifications—so you know what’s waiting without opening every share.

New integrations and partnerships
Frame.io keeps connecting to the cameras and tools your team already uses—so footage moves from set to review to finished cut faster, with fewer steps in between.
What’s new:
- Frame.io panel for Adobe After Effects. Export renders straight to Frame.io from inside After Effects, then get comments back in your compositions. No more app-switching just to get feedback on your motion graphics or motion design.
- CuttingRoom Cloud Editor. Skip the download-to-edit step entirely. CuttingRoom’s browser-based editor now pulls footage straight from Frame.io onto a timeline and sends the finished edit right back—no downloads, no re-uploads. Built for newsrooms and teams who need to go from raw footage to a published story fast.
- Leica support. Leica’s new SL3-P integrates Frame.io Camera to Cloud (C2C) natively, sending every photo and video—complete with signed Content Credentials—straight to your Frame.io project the instant it’s captured.
- Silverstack Lab v9.3 (Pomfort). Silverstack Lab v9.3 integrates Frame.io Version 4 directly into its offload and dailies workflow, so DITs can upload dailies to the right teams and projects automatically—often while footage is still being processed—with full progress tracking built in.
- Accsoon CineView M7 Series integration. Built for run-and-gun and multi-cam crews who need footage moving straight into Frame.io from set, the Accsoon CineView M7, M7 Pro, and M7H Pro now support Frame.io Camera to Cloud, bringing native cloud upload to the first Android-based wireless monitors.

Frame.io is now one click away in Adobe’s Top App Bar
If you’re ever heads-down in Adobe Premiere or Photoshop and need to check a comment or grab a file from Frame.io, you don’t have to break your flow. Frame.io is now just one always within reach.
You’ll be able to access Frame.io in Adobe’s Top App Bar, right alongside your other Creative Cloud apps.
What’s new:
- Frame.io appears in the Top App Bar next to your other Creative Cloud apps
- Switch to Frame.io from any Adobe app without losing your place
- New users get a more direct path to Frame.io from inside the Adobe ecosystem

Share once. Reach everyone with Share Lists.
Share Lists let you group collaborators and email addresses. You can add them to any Share all at once, instead of one at a time.
Sending the same rough cut to the same 12 people every week? Build the list once. Every future Share to that group is a single click.
What’s new:
- Build named, reusable lists of collaborators and emails
- Set them at the account level for standing groups, or workspace level for a single project
- Any Edit + Share member can use a list. Content Admins create and manage them.
- Recipients get free Reviewer access. No additional paid seat required.
