We’ve been busy shipping updates that make Frame.io more powerful across workflows—not just faster, but more connected, trusted, and reliable.
Here’s what’s new.
Workfront + Frame.io integration: unified review and approval
Frame.io is now the primary review surface inside Adobe Workfront.
This new integration replaces legacy Proof workflows and brings Frame.io directly into how teams manage work—connecting planning, creation, and review in one system.
What’s new:
- Frame.io powers the review of creative assets directly within Workfront
- Multi-stage approvals are now supported end-to-end
- Shared work-in-progress storage across Workfront and Frame.io
- More seamless collaboration between creative and marketing teams
For teams already using both products, this closes a major workflow gap. Instead of jumping between systems, work moves continuously—from brief to review to approval—without losing context.
This is a foundational step toward a more unified creative workflow across Adobe. Available to Frame.io Enterprise and Workfront customers. To get started ahead of your Workfront renewal, contact your account team.
Share Builder: inline invite to share
We’ve made it faster and more intuitive to bring collaborators into your workflow—right at the moment you’re sharing work.
Instead of jumping to a separate modal, you can now invite reviewers directly within the Share Builder. This keeps everything in context and removes friction when adding people to a review.
What’s improved:
- Invite reviewers inline while creating a Share (no context switching)
- Faster access management for both public and secure Shares
- Closer parity between Quick Share and Share Builder experiences
This is another step toward making Frame the default place where creative work gets shared, reviewed, and pushed forward—without breaking flow.
A better PDF experience: faster, clearer, more reliable
We’ve significantly improved how PDFs render and perform across Frame.io.
These updates focus on everyday usability—making it easier to review, annotate, and navigate documents without friction.
What’s improved:
- More accurate zoom rendering – Pages render at actual zoom levels (no more blurry scaling)
- Smoother navigation – Faster page-to-page performance and fewer interruptions
- Accurate text rendering – Better support for PDFs containing non-Latin languages and special character sets, including CJK languages
- Color fidelity – ICC profiles improve color accuracy for PDFs with embedded color spaces
- Improved text suggestion annotations – fixes for rotated pages, scaling, and more accurate comment positioning
The result? PDFs feel as reliable and responsive as video and image review—no workarounds required.
Intuitive zoom, pan, and gesture controls across all your assets
You asked, we answered. We’ve improved zoom and pan behavior so it feels more natural when using a mouse or trackpad—without having to rely on just UI controls. Whether you’re reviewing an image, video, or document, navigation now feels smoother, more precise, and fits naturally in a fast-paced creative workflow.
What’s improved:
- Flexibility when zooming – Use CMD+ scroll wheel or pinch-to-zoom allows you to zoom in and out fluidly
- Smoother panning – Two-finger scrolling enables smooth panning, making it easy to navigate detailed areas.
- More accurate zooming – Smart focal points based on cursor or gesture position keep you from losing your place.
Now, reviewing static and motion assets feels less like a workaround and more like a natural part of the review experience.
