This epic workflow breakdown covers everything from production and post-production schedules, to which cameras, codecs, and computers were used (you may be surprised at the hardware choices). This magnum opus even transcended our industry, ranking #3 in the best content of 2018 by the content curation and scheduling site Quuu.
This article was too big of a hit not to do it again in 2019. We may even have some other workflow juggernaut articles for you, so stay subscribed to the Frame.io Insider to remain in the loop and in the know.
What to Expect in 2019
I feel like we are only just now hitting our stride as a publication that provides quality content for the professional film and video industry. Next year you can expect more of the same quality articles, plus expansion into new territory as we address other topics related to cinema production, op-eds to stir up riveting conversation, and eventually increasing our cadence to two articles a week.
Already on deck are stories related to proper log usage, getting work in video production, an inside look at the work of a senior colorist at EFILM, tips and insights for working abroad, why it’s necessary to move to L.A. or N.Y.
